Dr. Justin Buzick

Dr. Justin Buzick is a dual fellowship-trained physician specializing in Hematology/Medical Oncology and Palliative Care. He earned his medical degree from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences after completing his undergraduate studies at Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa. He went on to complete an Internal Medicine residency at the University of Iowa Health Care, where he later served as chief fellow during his Hematology/Oncology fellowship. He also completed a fellowship in hospice and palliative care at the same institution.

Dr. Buzick’s clinical interests include genitourinary and breast cancers. He has a strong academic background in quality improvement and has conducted research focused on managing the side effect burden of cancer therapies.

Originally from Pella, Iowa, Dr. Buzick enjoys spending his free time with his fiancée and their dogs. He also enjoys exercising, reading a good book, escape rooms, and time with friends and family.
