Britta Ten Haken, PA-C

Britta Ten Haken grew up in Des Moines and graduated from Urbandale High School. She then went on to Northwestern College in Orange City, IA, where she was involved in research and graduated Cum Laude with a BA in Biology Health Professions. She returned to Des Moines for her Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Des Moines University.

Britta enjoys spending time with her spouse, reading and enjoying the outdoors. She is passionate about oncology because she experienced her mom’s acute leukemia in high school (she was treated by MOHA doctors initially). That experience propelled and motivated her through schooling, specifically towards becoming a PA. She joined the MOHA (now Mission Blood + Cancer) Flex APP team in 2019.
