Kristi Bogseth, ARNP

Kristi Bogseth originally attended Missouri Western State University.  She played basketball and graduated with a double major in Business Management and Health and Exercise Science (BS/BS).

Kristi had always been interested in helping people. After returning home after college, she decided to pursue a degree in nursing.  Kristi attended Mercy College of Health Sciences in Des Moines, IA and earned her Registered Nurse and Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN/BSN). While in school she was drawn to oncology through her preceptorships in gynecological oncology, medical oncology, and radiation oncology.

Kristi’s first nursing experience was as a Registered Nurse (RN) at Mercy on the oncology floor. Kristi also worked as a traveling nurse (BSN) on the oncology floor at Good Samaritan hospital in San Jose, CA. After her traveling experience in California, she opted to pursue her master’s degree and attended University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE.

While pursuing her master’s degree, she worked at Principal Financial Group as a Disability Nurse Consultant. This allowed her to experience nursing from a different perspective. She served as a consultant to the claims analysts and provided medical opinions on disability claims. Kristi graduated with her Adult Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) in 2012.

Kristi worked for Mercy Geriatrics from 2013-2016. While working with the geriatric population serving as their primary health care provider, she opted to go back to school to widen her scope of practice. She continued to work and graduated with her post-masters Family Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) in May 2015.

Kristi Bogseth, ARNP, joined Mission Cancer + Blood in January 2017.  She has been aligned with Dr. Roy Molina, Dr. Tara Graff, and is currently aligned with Dr. Angela Sandre.

Throughout her time, she has been involved with NOCC (National Ovarian Cancer Coalition), as well as Light the Night Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
